I’m going to the beach as soon as I get leave from my work. After reading your post, I was compelled to bring a camera with me to shoot some scenery. What time in the day is the optimal time to shoot nature?

Hi Thomas! Well, it could be anytime of the day as long as you’re in favor with the ambient light. Here’s a trick though. Since you’re going to the beach, take photos while the sun is up and while sunset. Shooting with the sun up can give you good exposure, and everything is lighted. If the light is too harsh, try later in the day or use a filter. Shooting during sunset or golden hour is definitely a must. The sun at this point presents everything in a different color and shape. You can opt to smoothen out the water as well for a more dramatic look.
