Thought for the day: How Waterproof is Your Gear?
Some cameras are advertised as being waterproof. Some say water resistant, few, except underwater, say water proof. But with most water resistant cameras where they are water resistant is from rain above. Driving rain onto the lens rings (focus, zoom), not so much. And if you put the camera down in a small puddle, even worse. Most cameras have very little waterproofing underneath the camera. This article on how just a little salt water that snuck into a $10K Fujifilm GFX camera shows what can happen. https://www.lensrentals.com/
